7v7t3 - X doesn't start as user

I just re-installed 7v7t3 and installed 7desk packages from ibiblio. Everything seems to be working fine, except when I start X as a user, it says

Fatal Server Error:
Can't open log file /var/log/Xorg.0.log

I tried running X as a root, which worked, trying again as a user gave following error:

Fatal Server Error:
Can't move old log file ("/var/log/Xorg.0.log" to "/var/log/Xorg.0.log.old")

After these both errors it says

giving up.
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): Unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno3): Server error

[ren]

The following command as root should fix it...

chmod u+s /usr/bin/Xorg
